This week, it was revealed that the US Attorney in the Eastern District of California has issued subpoenas to numerous operators in California, with a focus on the activities of Weedmaps. Weedmaps has been advertising unlicensed cannabis shops in California for several years now and it appears the federal government is taking an interest in this activity. Sean McAllister was interviewed about the development yesterday for Cheddar TV, which is known as the financial news network for millennials. See the full interview by clicking here. Sean provides insight into the Weedmaps issue and urges people not to panic at this development.
McAllister Garfield is actively working in the California market for numerous clients. If you have any questions or concerns about this development, contact Sean at sean@mcallistergarfield.com.
