Legal Issues Facing CBD and Hemp
There is a lot of opportunity in the hemp field and there’s a lot of activity in the space as well. CBD and hemp are derived from the cannabis plant, yet are not psychoactive. They have less than 3/10ths of a percent THC.
The federal government has passed some laws that protect CBD and industrial hemp and activities related to those products. We are happy to represent companies that cultivate hemp, that process hemp into CBD, companies that sell hemp wholesale and companies that sell hemp to consumers in e-commerce, portal-type applications. We see a lot of growth in the marketplace and we’d be happy to help you or your company navigate the legal and regulatory framework that applies to industrial hemp. We know you probably have a lot of questions. Please give us a call.
