Kelly Rosenberg Chosen to Sit on NCIA State Regulatory Committee
Friends,
Kelly Rosenberg, Senior Attorney at McAllister Garfield, P.C., has been selected to participate on the National Cannabis Industry Association’s State Regulations Committee for the 2018-2019 term. This committee examines and reviews the varying cannabis industry-specific statewide regulations around the country and works to establish best practices or guidelines for states and municipalities to facilitate the development and regulations and compliance procedures. Members were selected based on the applicants’ expertise and passion to effect positive change for the industry.
Kelly was selected for this committee in large part because of her expertise in Colorado’s marijuana regulations. As the general counsel to the Marijuana Enforcement Division from 2010 – 2016, Kelly drafted, advised on, and/or legally reviewed all MED regulations. Kelly is now one of several team members at McAllister Garfield who has a working knowledge of the MED rules and can help your business remain compliant. Feel free to reach out to McAllister Garfield if you have any regulatory questions or concerns.
Sincerely,
