MAPS Psychedelic Science 2025 Events Featuring Sean McAllister
McAllister Law has a booth at the Psychedelic Science event, so come visit us! In addition, Sean will be featured at several events at the Psychedelic Science 2025 conference, including:

This half day workshop, in collaboration with the Sacred Plant Alliance, will be on Tuesday, June 17th from 2:30-6:30pm and will be a comprehensive review of the legal issues around psychedelic churches.

This panel, in collaboration with the Indigenous Medicine Conservation Fund, on Wednesday June 18th at noon will feature three indigenous speakers and myself discussing the challenges of plant medicine work in the US from a cultural, ethical, and legal perspective.

This panel, in collaboration with Psychedelic Parenthood Community, is on Thursday, June 19th at 9:30am. As psychedelic science moves toward mainstream acceptance, one truth remains overlooked: many of its most engaged participants are also parents and caregivers. Yet their lived realities, insights, and needs are rarely acknowledged in research, policy, or public discourse—rendering psychedelic parenthood both widespread and taboo. Drawing from diverse cultural and professional perspectives—including sociology, medicine, Indigenous practice, and law—we’ll explore how psychedelics support caregivers in navigating postpartum depression, parental stress, and intergenerational trauma, and how these tools might shape future harm reduction and adolescent mental health strategies.
