Colorado Psilocybin Licensing Goes Live!

Colorado’s state regulators have release applications for the Natural Medicine Health Act businesses. Specifically, DORA will license facilitators, see their website here. And DOR will license healing centers, cultivation, manufacturing, handlers, owners, and testing labs, see their website here. Sean will be helping people prepare their license applications and draft SOPs or other forms as needed. Contact us to see how we can help.

Help with NMHA SOPs, Consent Forms

McAllister Law is helping applicants in the Colorado Natural Medicine program develop the numerous standard operating procedures, consent forms, and other plans required by the rules. Sean has developing flat fee SOPs and forms at an affordable cost to help satisfy all the requirements under the rules. For more information, see these lists of forms and cost: for healing centers/facilitators click here, for cultivation/manufacturing SOPs click here.

DORA Releases Guidance Related to Decrim Work

DORA has released a guidance document setting out its view of the limitations of work in the decriminalized areas of Colorado’s Natural Medicine Health Act. DORA takes a very narrow view of the decriminalization provisions that would likely make many harm reduction practices illegal. In particular, it is critically important not to engage in the unlicensed practice of facilitation. In addition, the agency appears most concerned about projects doing any advertising of services or product. A copy of the guidance can be found here. Contact Sean to determine if there are steps you can take to avoid enforcement actions around your decriminalization activities.
